About VoxShield
VoxShield builds tools that help ordinary people pause before trusting a voice.
Why we built this
Cloning a voice no longer takes a studio. A short clip from a video or a previous call can be enough to make a convincing copy, and scammers use it to add urgency to old tricks: the relative in trouble, the bank officer, the “officer” on a video call. Most detection tools are built for studio-quality English. Families in India send voice notes in Hindi, Tamil, Bengali, Marathi and many other languages, over compressed phone and WhatsApp audio. We wanted a checker built for that reality.
What we promise
- Honesty about uncertainty. When the evidence is weak we say “unsure”. We don't publish accuracy claims we can't back with a public, reproducible evaluation.
- Privacy by default. Audio is analysed and deleted immediately.
- Safety first. Every result comes with the same advice: verify by calling back on a number you know, never share OTPs or PINs, and report fraud.
- No dark patterns. No fake testimonials, no fake counters, no scare tactics.
