Terms of service

By using SpotAClone (the website, checker and API) you agree to these terms.

1. What the service is, and isn't

SpotAClone analyses audio and estimates whether a voice shows signs of AI generation. Results are decision support only. They are probabilistic, can be wrong in both directions, and may be “unsure”. A “likely real” result does not prove who is speaking. Results are not legal, forensic or financial advice and are not evidence of identity.

2. No guarantee

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee that it will detect every AI-generated or cloned voice, that it will be error-free, or that it will be available without interruption.

3. How you may use it

• Only upload audio you have the right to share.
• Don't use results to harass, defame or publicly accuse anyone.
• Don't use the service as the sole basis to block, deny service to, or take action against a person.
• Don't attempt to overload, reverse-engineer or probe the service to build evasion tools.

4. Audio and privacy

Audio is analysed and deleted immediately and is not retained. See the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms, including our approach under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

5. Plans, payments and cancellation

Paid plans renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) until cancelled and are processed by our payment partner; taxes are calculated at checkout. You can cancel any time and keep access until the end of the paid period. Unused checks don't roll over. If something went wrong with a charge, email us and we will look at it fairly.

6. Licence keys

Keys are for you (Plus, up to 2 devices) or your household (Family, up to 5 devices). Don't resell or publish them. We may suspend keys that are shared publicly or abused.

7. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from reliance on a result, including money sent to or withheld from anyone. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can't be excluded.

8. If you've been scammed

Contact your bank immediately. In India call 1930 or report at cybercrime.gov.in. See what to do if you already sent money.
